snake has a problem!!!

ok, I could SERIOUSLY use some input on this one...My emerald was which was looking alittle to thin at one point has been seeming to get much better,

But, last night it made a bowel movement and it seems as if part of its insides came out to. The feces looks normal, as in not too hard or any bigger than usual. But there is a big chunk of like guts or something hanging out the bottom of the snake about the size of two grapes....

I tried to get in there to clean it and saw that hanging out of my snake, not to mention she is VICIOUS!!!! I almost got tagged three times, I couldn't get any of the feces out, she is repeatedly striking the cage, I needed to cover it up...

I am guessing this is a really bad thing, and it definately seems to be hurting the snake..

PLEASE if anyone has ever seen or heard of this before I would love to hear from you...

Anal prolapse, very serious indeed, can lead to death from infection. I would recomend a trip to the vet ASAP for antibiotics & hopefully the vet can get the prolapse back in & have it stay in. Mark
