breed 2 yellow bellies together and you get an Ivory ball python, plus there are other crosses in developement. Although they do look fairly normal, its wj=hat's on the inside that counts.

Ok.That i didn't know

But who bred the first yellow belly's???There are people in holland who say that they have W.C yellow belly's. Is this possible ??

A friend of mine bought a w.c bp that is high yellow. He paid 65 euro's for it.
If you see the W.C animals you wouldn't believe the collors that they have.

There are some realy beautiful animals between the normals.

not sure who bred the first yellow bellies in captivity, like most morphs they are wild collected and then proven. i think amir was one of ( if not the) first to prove yellow bellies and ivories.
It is possible for people to have wc yellow bellies. Again people have found them in large shipments and proved them out. There will always be a lot of difference in a huge shipment of balls, sometimes nearing 50000 will be shipped at one time.
Alot of people think they have YB's but in fact alot of the time the are misrepresented animals from shonky dealers!!
check out the link below, great pointers

Ok. but can you see if they are yellow belly's when they are babies???? Ore do you need to breed them first to be sure?

And if i understand correctly it's more important that you can breed Ivory's out of
yellow belly's? ore other morphs?

Thanks Ray.

Here is a link about how the Yellow Belly become hot.

http://www.ballpythons.ca/collection...low_belly.html

After that a lot of people try to sell so call wild caught " YELLOW BELLY" normal balls at a high price, of course some people in the State get traped and they never can hatch out an Ivory out of those snake. Just by visual is no way to tell which one is the true. I have a female normal also has a sightly yellow belly. So I guess only reputated breeder well sell you the true yellow belly.

However I personal think Ivory is not a beautiful morph even it can further produce other morphs. I just don't like a snake without pattern.
