One more question

I'm currently looking to build a custom enclosure for my two girls. The dimensions being 8' L 8' H 4' W. I'm wondering what is the best building material in terms of wood to use for the cage. For staining the wood, is any product suitable to reptiles as long as you give the enclosure 2 weeks to air out in the sun?
