Is It A Fire Hazzard

ok i was thinking of switching all all my snakes from glass tanks to a rubbermaid snake rack but my dad got a little worried when i told him i was putting heat tape in the rack but he says that it would be a major fire hazzard :greenflam :greenflam so if any one can comment and tell him that it really isnt that bad PLZ do so

Professional reptile breeders world wide use racks with heat tape. If done properly it is no more of a fire hazard than a heat lamp or pad. Mark
