When somebody screws up their pet its usually because of bad husbandry you should really have read up before getting him he probably needs heat or more heat or maybe your givin him the wrong food or hes just a bit stressed from the trip home.Good Luck!

animals do that some time.. just make sure all your husbrandy is correct, and you are feeding the right size.. you gecko should be fine if everything is correct. if not then there was an underlying condition.
Leolord
you know nothing about the housing that the gecko is being kept in. how can you say lizardoking is screwing something up... so everytime my animals dont eat im doing something wrong. i just had a ball that didnt eat for 6 months.. what was i screwing up there... many top breeders have animals that dont eat.. since you seem to know everything.. what are they doing wrong..
im not trying to be mean. i just want you to realise you cant make assumptions on how something is being kept.. housing is not the only reason herps dont eat.. parasites, stress, or frankly there just not hungry, could even be just the time of season that the animal doesnt wanna eat... before you say that the keeper is doing something you must find more info... or your just gonna screw them up..
p.s. lizardoking... more info on temps cage ect ect.. would be helpful

Goldens
One you should never try to feed an animal after bringing it home for about a week. For one example; stress from moving will cause lots of animals to regurgitate! Two YOU NEVER TOLD US HOW BIG IT IS! Did you ask the petsore how big of crickets you should feed them??? (or did you impulse buy, brought him home, then realized you have to feed him so you bought the biggest crickets you could-hoping he will grow double over night?) They are not dumb if they think it is too big to eat they won't!
I breed many Goldens and from my experience; I believe that you need some! did you check the internet for care sheets
I DID!!!!!!!!!

Must I do everything!
Cheers

Thanks peterm15 for shoving that in my head again I was too cocky and to tell you the truth other person(sorry) I think he's just a bit stressed is all, same thing happens with my geckos when they come home. I hope there is no problems if he's done after that.

Would feeding mealworms to my Golden gecko harm him at all. I want to know so that I could raise my own mealworms, so I don't have to go to the store all the time and get crickets.

Lizardoking mealworms are never a problem you should never believe those old wives tales about how they'll eat they're way out of the geckos stomach. I always feed my leos mealworms and waxworms all the time but waxworms less and they are still here today and its been 3 long years. But grand ones!

djcoreyd, I think you need to calm down. I'm sure you didn't become an expert as soon as you first got into reptiles.
lizardoking, just give it a few days to chill.

I'm not sure about the whole fruit thing lizardoking but I'm pretty sure that he's just going through that winter stage, everyone herp goes through it from my leos to your golden gecko I wouldn't worry too much.
