ok i need to make a decision.

ok i am going to breed crested geckos

but after that i have the choices of getting a ball python or a pair of corn snakes to breed.

what should i get first im kinda thinking corn snakes but i dont know. i love both snakes.:medfrown:

well, that depends. do you want an active snake or do you want a "lap snake"? a ball will pretty much sit on your lap and not move much at all while a corn is constantly going to be trying to get away from you. both species are normally very docile so theres really no difference there. both species are also very hardy and easy to care for. it is really just what type of snake you prefer.

yah i geuss your right. i was going to get a ball but i went to a pet store and saw a corn snake and fell in love. i think i will get some corn snakes. Do you guys know of any breeders in winnipeg?

im in PA so i dont know any breeders in Winnipeg but corns are one of the most common snakes on the herp market. the best advice i can give you is DO NOT buy your snake from a pet store. they are way overpriced and usually not in the best condition. if all you want is a corn your best bet will probably be to go to your local reptile show. they will most likely have many different morphs to choose from at very reasonable prices. if you do not know of any shows near you im sure a lot of the other members on this site will be glad to help you out. good luck!
