Columbian Red Tail Questions...

hello everyone, I have been thinking about getting a columbian red tail boa for quiet some time now. I was wondering is there anything special about this species that i should know. i know about their potential size just wondering if they have any other problems. I was also wondering is there anything i can do to better prepare myself for this snake. I wont be getting one till about June 3-4 2006 so i have plenty of time to research. Any other info will greatly be appreciated....THANKS!

The only problem we had was that it's better to feed a smaller prey item than a larger one when they're babies. Ours was regurging for a little bit. But other than that, they're bloody great!

We've had no problems since then

i have a pair of them and i couldnt be happier with them. they never refuse a meal, are very docile, and are very easy to care for if you can handle their size (which really isnt that big of a problem). good luck with yours in the future and have fun with it
