If You Care about snakes please read

The show Fear Factor has been using snakes on their program again. Many
of these snakes are mistreated( I once saw a python on the show with
mouth rot). Even if the animals are not being mistreated directly it is
sending the message to the public that snakes are scary monsters and
many snakes are killed every year by people out of fear. Can you please
take a moment to right to the show and voice your concern. I have. I
have also emailed PETA and they to will be getting in contact with the
show.

Thank you all!

Thanks for posting that. I never really like that show anyway. Alot of their 'missions', or whatever, involve animals.. Which I think is wrong. Using animals for mass amusement is awful. Specially if they don't take care of the them.

Ya FF sucks & is abusive to animals, but PETA is nothing but a terrorist organization that doesn't even support keeping animals as pets etc. etc. etc. Good to sic the terrorists on the FF scum but they are a very misleading organization & are really not on "our side" at all. Mark

I've always thaught that the animals on fear factor are badley misstreated for example they are literaly dump garbage cans full of snakes onto people with no regard for the snakes. Also they had one episode where two people were in a glass box filled with varios geckos, they had to move these magnets to the top around all the geckos and alot of them fell 3-4 feet to the ground

i was watching a game show the other night called distraction and they were putting dozens of corn snakes into rubber pants that the contestants were wearing. i used to think that show was funny but now it just pi$$ed me off. its truly sickening what people will do to animals for entertainment.

Exclamation Fear Factor is Bogus!!!!

Fear Factor is in my opinion a load of %$^@ cause you all are right! They totally mistreat their animals. As for off the show I cannot say, but I have seen them just dump snakes in to water or large bins(roughly). Then they throw people into them who are scared %$^@less in the first place of snakes and the poor things get thrashed, kicked and drowned. And they do get the point across to America that snakes are scary, which upsets us herpitologists greatly!

The greatest point I have to offer on this subject is they mix all those species together. If one is sick then now they all are, and if you have read this fourm closely one person has already told us he could see mouth rot on one. I am going to write NBC and also report them to the humane society in their local. I suggest if you care for any reptile/aracnid/anphibian you will do the same. :medopen:
