Exclamation My mice have the sniffles.

I just bought some breeder mice from a local petstore and they sneeze constantly. The other mice I have don't do this so I was wondering if they're sick or something. I bought them yesterday and they weren't doing it but today when I got home they were. The substrate is clean. I haven't bought a water bottle yet for drinking and I am using a dish for a couple of days untill I can go back to the store. Could the dish be the cause?

Any ideas would be great.

Hmm, Just a thought, Could it be water gettin nose while drinking from bowl? Maybe thats to a extreme but its a idea. Also, When you go back to collect your next water bowl, Check if the othe rmice at the shop are sneezing. Well i dont breed, So im hopeless....Sorry. That was just a idea above.

Thumbs up Sniffling Mice

I've been breeding mice for a while now and I would say bring them back to the pet store. Don't take the chance of infecting your mice with a respitory infection. If you can't get back to the forum I've got some other ideas.

Thanks guys. I took them back. They had pneumonia from their cage mates back at the petstore.
