different species interaction (not in captivity)

I have wondered for a while what would happen if these crocodilians would meet in the wild.

1: the melanosuchus niger (black caiman) & crocodylus intermedius (ornico crocodile)

it appears that they coaxist in region quite a bit. Would they get along?

I have wondered about the next one since I was about 5 yrs old and my book

"I didn't know crocodiles yawn to keep cool" had a page asking "true or false, crocodiles and alligators never meet. the answer is of course false.

But I always wondered if the american crocodile and the alligator met wouldn't they treat each other as if they are the same species or do their brains register it is a different species of crocodilian? how would they react?
