Blizzard baby!!! *updated with a pic!!!*
I got my first blizzard leo hatchling today !!!!!!! Im very happy, but kinda dissapointed. He/she isnt pure white like the name states. He/she has white feet, lips, and tail; grey head and back; as well as yellow sides and legs. Is this normal for a blizzard? There were only 2 for sale at a local pet store, the one I got and one that had less yellow and grey. I wasnt planning on getting one till after christmas, but when i saw that the better looking one was sold I decided I'd better get mine before someone bought him/her too. This is the first time ive ever seen blizards for sale there, so im kinda wondering:
1) Were these a breeders rejects? (due to the grey and yellows)
2) Did the pet store not know what they had (see #3)?
3) Is he/she really a patternless leo?
Ill get a pic up asap (I cant find my USB cable to transfer pics off my camera to my computer.)
Till then ill have to find a pic on google that looks like my leo.

This pic is alot like my bliz:
http://www.geckosetc.com/images/avail_bliz_bana600.jpg
The bottem leo in that pic looks alot like mine, but mine has a grey line down its back and a little bit darker head.
Does this mean I have a banana bliz leo?
Heres another one that looks like mine, the line down the back and the head are darker on mine, but besides that this one looks dead on like mine:
http://www.reptileauction.com/cgi-bi...tem=1134746305
Does this mean mine is a blazing blizzard leo?
Im so confused!!!!!

Ok, i found this:
http://www.blizzardlizard.com/index1.asp?request=about
Reptiles Magazine March 2000, Cover Story
It says: "When "Blizzard Lizards" hatch they have a light gray head, almost a translucent body with a faint yellow overcast and white tail. It almost looks like a Siamese cat! Within the first two months as the animal ages, the animals skin thickens making it lose the translucency. The faint yellow hue is lost with age also."
It also says: "Blazing Blizzard Lizard," a white gecko with blazing red eyes."
So, i looked at my blizzards eyes, they are so dark they look black, which rules out blazing blizzard.
Im hope the first quote is true, about him/her turning whiter with age.

I still cant find my cable, Ive looked EVERYWHERE for it. However I do have good news, my blizzard has pooped 3 times, is eating now, and lookes to be about to shed I cant wait for that, maybe some of that yellow will go away ! I showed a pic of him/her to a guy who said he used to breed leos, and he said that he/she looks like a patternless to him, but I dont think he was right, because he/she has no pattern, which all the pics of patternless hatchlings Ive seen had some patterning when they were small, and that goes away after some sheds. I guess its just a wait and see what comes of this.
