ball seen hurt at store

sunday when we was at the pet store, there was some other people there with there pet balls. when we walked in they had the snake up in the air looking at the belly. i thought they was trying to SEE (lol) what sex it was. so i walked over to see what was goin on. then i seen the snake OMG!!!! they said it had a bad shed, it was all pink and looked really bad. it seemed as if some of the scales were gone like they were pulled out. they said they came out when the snake was shedin. has anyone ever heard of this? i thought the snake was burned or something it was from head to tail thats how bad it was. i asked if they had a heat rock and they said no but it was funny b/c the was buying a heat pad and that grass like paddin. thay also said the snake was rescued from another home a while back and in ???? was that for the better? but anyway my ??? was has anyone heared of this??????

Sometimes my Ball turns a little pink before it sheds...but that goes away after. And other times when its swimming in warm water...other than that id assume that teh snake you saw either had a really bad blood disease or it was burned.
