New Boa

i got her probed, and she's a female.

i named her tina and here are some pics.

the day i got her she went up there for about an hour.

here is a full pic of her setup, she was headed to her hide

because i went back in a few hours and she was snug in her log were i snapped this pic.

so that first pic was the night and the next two were the next day in the morning..this one was later in the day when i saw she was up on her branch again so i decided to try and hold her.. she doesn't hiss or strike, she's great! very well behaved.

she hung out on my hand for a while. until i put her back...

later that night i found her up on her little peice of wood..but hten i came back about 3 hours later and she was still there so i snapped the following pic.

thanksa for checkin the post out...... she's a great snake...

Awesome lookin' BCI~! I just picked up my first not too long ago as well. I've only owned Pythons before and the Boa's are really starting to grow on me

try not holding the snake for at least a week to let it get used to the enviornment. young boas often get nervous and stressed easily, just my 2 cents, only take her out if your cleaning the cage and keep the cage out of the traffic areas in your house.

Congrats, you've got a pretty girl. When did you get her? I agree with giving them a time to wind down and get used to their new home. I always give them two meals to get down and digest at the least before getting them used to handling and I know some owners suggest even longer. You'll enjoy her very much.
