Well, I'd let the cool side temp drop into the upper 70s or so. We keep ours with a daytime gradient between about 78 - 85 (max) and at night the temps drop from 2-4 degrees on both ends. Be sure to keep in mind that temps any higher than 85 can be detrimental to BRBs, especially young ones. (Not sure how old yours is...) The snakes do better with slightly cooler temps than other boas.
We keep our enclosures' ambient humidities between 85 - 90%+ (the digital hygrometers we use max out at 90% then just read 'HI' and they pretty much always say 'HI'). If your BRB is pretty much always staying in the moss/water, then it may be telling you it wants more ambient humidity. You said you have a bowl with some moss and water. Is the bowl "rightside up" with no lid and just there to help put moisture into the air? If so, one thing you may try is get a tupperware-type bowl with lid on it, cut a hole in the side just big enough for the snake to go in and fill with moist sphagnum moss to give the snake a hide with concentrated humidity. (If this is what you're already doing, then disregard - I wasn't sure from your description...) Be sure to check the "moist hide for urates/stool often - snakes really seem to like pottying in them.
Generally it sounds like you're off to a good start, may just need a little tweaking here and there.
Regards,
Heather
