Converted my Blood to F/T

Well, I figured I would give it a shot, because it won't be too long before my snake needs to be eating rats, and I know that rats fight back a whole lot more. I dont want to have my snake hurt by a nasty rat, so I tried F/T last night. I have been using a clear sweater box to feed it live mice, and it usually takes it about 30 mins in the dark to take the live food. I had heard that sometimes it take a couple of tried to convert to F/T, so I checked ever 30 mins to see how things were going. I was proud to see that after an hour and a half, there was no more mouse, so I put the snake back in its cage, and it has been happy ever since!!

Awesome news man~! That's rad~! It is always a good feeling when a snake takes it's first F/T~! Now you gotta get it hooked on the taste of rats

That is my next move, but it will be a couple of weeks before it is ready for rat pups. For now I am gonna try and get some really big mice.

Bloods can handle pretty large prey. My rule of thumb for Bloods and Borneos is if they will take it, let 'em have it~! To some extent of course
