Exclamation Found and still need a few answers!

Last night i found my b/p. I just went downstairs to do something, I went into the kitchen, walked out and went to do something else and turned around there he was, comming out the kitchen. The thing about it is i just looked in there, so i have no clue where he was. But anyway he was very (and i mean VERY) cold. I had put a heat pad under his tank just a lil while before i found him. Is there any posible way he could get to hot to fast. I wasnt using heat pads on any of my snakes, I was just using lamps but today i think i will go buy them all one. I would love to know if there is anyway the pads can get to hot. So if you have any qustions or comments for me please let me know. I am soooo happy he came back. OOOOO yea by the way he was acting very funny also, real jumpy, and shy twords me. Dont know if he was just scared or really pissed at me, any clue on that one?

Congrats for you ball come back, You don't need to do any thing if the temp is right at about 90F to 92F. let him hide for a while and do not disturb him. Not a big deal. do not feed him if you found he is still cold.

Most likely your heat pad is too hot. try measure the temp at the warm side. make it about 92F. Do not place your heat pad inside the tank, it should plsce under the tank. direct heat can burn the snake if the temp is too high.

Dont understand why all of you set your temps at such a high temp. They do really great at 82-85 Deg. I find any thing above that is just too much for them. I've had mine for 5 years and never had a problem with anything. I have albinos normales and hets of different breads . So my opinion is that 92 is a little to hot for them.
