all you need is a box with some starafome to line the sides and the bottom and the top and a gel heat pack and then you need the weight of the box with the snake in it and call westjet and they will tell you how much.it should be around $70.and you need to put the snake in a countainer and fill the rest of the box with paper.

i have heard about using ice packs before. what the hell is the point of making them cold?
is there different places they are storing them on a plane or what?

you get a box and line it with strafome and you put the baby snakes in cups with lids and if they are adults then you put them in pellow cases and you put them on one side and put a drvider in the middel and put the heat packs on the other side.then fill the rest of the bow with crumpled paper so the snke and the heat packs do not move and the snakes have more safety

Re: shipping my snake
I opened this one back up, it is breeding season and shipping snakes is part of life right now.
Personally I use fed ex priority overnight with early AM delivery.
Always demand a signature, last year a friend of mine shipped a snake and it got left on the wrong door step, the snake was never seen again.

Re: shipping my snake
Only way to ship reptiles across Canada is by plane.
Puro, Fed-Ex, Canpar, UPS; all illegal up here.
