About 6mths, she's docile and gets along with my children's python really well (not housed together). What do you keep?

Nope. But if you ever decide to breed her, your best bet is investing in some morphs.

I've never kept GTPs, as I'm sort of broke. =P But I've heard mixed opinions on them as far as difficulty goes. To stay safe, I'll just go w/ the most common opinion & say they're for advanced keepers. Just about every python is harder to keep than a ball. GTPs have pretty strict husbandry needs.

I keep a brand new ball python as well, i got him at the september 11th show in mississauga. Hes just the nicest little bugger! Hes a week shy of 2 months old. He hasnt missed a meal yet. Im not to sure how his shed is going to go. He hasnt shed for me yet, but hes going into shed as we speak. Hes calmed down pretty well now, just a bit jumpy and still scared of me walking while im holding him. Heres a pic.
From what ive read and heard, GTPs are for advanced keepers, they require alot of time and effort (work, lol). But they are very beautiful snakes. Good luck with ur new ball python!!!

Congrats guys. These little ball are so cute and always want some more, don't you? as for green tree pythons, they need more study and knowlege inorder become success, but it is all about focus. I start reading about those gtp informations and hopefully get several down the road. IMO ball are so much easy.
