She must be afraid of the mouse. Do you have a hide for the snake? may br you can try pinky rat first. Once they start to eat a few times and you can try mouse again.

Feed him rats, The bp i just got this sunday is a month old (born aug 9th) and has eaten 4 times and shed twice. He is eating rat pups at the moment, but even they are too small, i should actually be feeding it juvinile rats cause the rat pup comes a bit shy of the size of the snakes girth, Hes feeding on live right now, ive only had him for one day and the 2nd day i introduced the rat pup, left for an hour, and he was gone when i came back. I couldnt even see it inside of him, so i think im gonna try a f/t juvy rat. ball pythons are known for not eating for a little bit, no1 really knows why, they can go off feed for months, or maybe just weeks, it all depends on ur snake. If everything is set up the way it should be then hes probably going on food strike. lol . Goood luck

Not all BPs are rat eater, and sometimes it hard to get them to switch.. Also bps are notorious for not eating.. Dont stress your self unless she is losing lots of weight or is dehydrated..

When my ball python wasn't feeding I put him in a small sack along with a F/T gerbil (I found he liked gerbils better than mice or rats) and he ate it every time no problem.

A doubt a snake would eat in a sack, unless the sack was being held open by something. It may though, ive never heard of anyone saying they dont. but i doubt it.

This is actually a common practice. It helps shy eaters feel more secure and comfortable to eat. What you usually do is put the dead rodent and the snake in the bag, close the top, put them back in the enclosure and leave them together overnight. It's enclosed, it's dark, it's warm... perfect eating conditions.
