Talking Help Please

Hey i wanted to get a snake and i have never had one before so i wanted to know what a good beginer snake would be. i want it to be easy to take care of because my parents are devorced and im at my dads every other week... and it needs to be an animal that he wont have to take care of... Can u help me?

corn snakes, or kingsnake are the best to start with.

I will assume you will be at your mothers place one week then your fathers the next, or just a weekend?
If the snake has to be at your fathers place, and you will only be there every other weekend or week, i would reccommend NO snake...

Any type of reptile [ in my opinion] should have fresh water daily, along with regular spot checks every other day, and a good interaction schedule.

The way you descibed your situation, if you were to get a snake, the proper husbanary could not be met, and the snake, no matter what species, would suffer.

Well im at my dads every other week... and i have a fish tank there now and he feeds my fish every day so it wouldnt be a problem for him to put in fresh water every day.....
