empty cage.........soon.
Hey all! I need some help makeing a desision. Ive got a 6x4x4 cage that is soon going to be empty, I need help deciding what i could put in it. I would like to put in a colony of lizards in it, but im unsure of what to choose.
I have thought about loading it with bearded dragons, australian water dragons, sudan plated lizards, argentine tegus...I would like a social animal, i dont really care if there tame or not, i really would just like to breed a lizard and watch there social hierarchy. So im looking for suggestions, thanks all.

bearded dragons are really social and are easy to breed.

Personally if I had the space to get a tank that big I'd probably get a pair or trio of frilled dragons. I'd also think about getting some red ackies. I like them better than yellows. Or I'd get a pair of either: timor, black-head, or storr's monitors <all are really cool dwarf monitors.
Good luck with whatever you decide to go with.

Argentine BW Tegus are my #1 choice. I have a trio, they're all great.....but my male is exceptional in attitude. Measures almost 4.5feet and is friendlier then alot of dogs. Still gotta watch your fingers thought

how big of a cage, are your trio of tegus in? I was thinking of putting one tegu in it.

for 1 tegu a 6x4x4 would be great. that way you can give it roughly 2 feet of dirt

Go with what you like but, I would rather have 6 bearded dragons then one tegu because you can actually produce.... just my way of thinking.

I thought of that too, My original plan was to have 5 females and one nice male, however someone told me that a male will breed the females to death. and i am not up for supplying that much bugs to feed 6 adult dragons and hundreds of offspring.
