Unusual Stool

Every once in a while I have noticed undigested rat parts in my BCIs stool. This last time it was the whole skull minus tissue. I've had some people tell me that undigested bones and hair are normal and other people tell me that I should take it to the vet. The temp is in the mid 80s. He's 3 years old and about 5 feet long. Any suggestions?

Hair wont digest, but bone should. I have no idea what the problem is. If you dont get good advice here, I would think about a vet trip. Is that the only problem with the stool? Is there ever any mucous or blood or anything like that? Are they firm or runny?

No mucus or blood that I can tell. They keep poopin in their water dish, but they seem like it would be firm otherwise.

Send a message via MSN to reptile boi
have you tried boosting their hot spot up to around 90F? maybe thatll help them digest the bones easier.

Thanks,
Ben
