Sterilite is always in abundance at my local Targets, and I like it, but Rubbermaid is good too.

I suppose Rubbermaid is the most popular, but I find the Sterilite brand to be of equal quality and it is easy to come by. I recommend model #1856 for keeping balls.

We built our own racks around steralite containers they have worked great for us. We even have a quarantine room that is always kept hot with the snakes in steralites.

Thumbs up

There hard too find and expensive but I would like to try CAMBRO food service containers
nice clear polycarbonite in several sizes
They would work well and look great in a rack but the lids dont lock down

Sterilite is more common in the US, but rubbermaid quality is a bit better. I have my racks built with sterilte sizes in mind and have stocked up. It would suck to build racks and all of a sudden the size tubs you built it around is no longer available!

If you're using a rack system, you don't need the S clips or the locking lids.

I use sterilite myself. I see no difference at all in quality, and I like that the sterilites have the little "feet" that elevate it slightly above the heat tape. Much safer that way.
