Dusk and night. Some may be different though, depends on the individual.

Basically. Some may hide all the time, some don't ever choose to use a hide, some are more actice, some not. This is the same with every species of snake. Some tend to be more active then others, a bull snake compared to a ball python, but you'll have to find out on your own

Mostly nocturnal... but like the others said... they will 'hunt' during daylight hours, especially if they can smell the rodents, lol.

so if i were to get a boa(in process still reading up on them) i could feed it anytime of the day even if its not being active at that moment. also will there temperment be any diffrent if i hold it during the day time then the night ? i ask this because my neighbor has a boa and she wont want to come out at night and she will hiss at him. but during the day she is very mellow and will let anyone hold her.

both of my boas will eat at any time of day and neither of them is aggressive at any time of the day. i guess it really depends on the individual though.
