Tired of hearing about Tiger rats?

The first clutch hatched a few days ago and they are now beginning to shed. 8 of the 9 hatched fine, #9 died in the egg. *sigh*

We had given up on the female double clutching for us this year. Yesterday when I went to change their water I found a small clutch of eggs! I surmise she laid them 2 days earlier. 5 eggs and 1 slug, the slug was removed from the mass.

After being in the incubator all night with a wet paper towel on them they are looking much improved.

YAY for more babies!

Hi there,
and congrats one more time! Nope, Iīll never get tired about your clutches and babies. Mine are very interrested in food, but not in mating... Oh well, maybe next year.
Hope to hear from you soon,

Happy Herping,
Carsten

I hope next year is the year for you, too!

The first two to shed so far:
