Bakeing rocks

Hey there everyone
I was wondering how long and at what temp. I should bake rocks before putting them in my cage? Also how long for wood and what temp

I think that it's a couple of hours at about 300... but since I've never done it before, I'm not sure...

I usually bake at 250 deg for 2 hours? seems to do the job. I have heard if you bake on to high a temp the rock may explode?

I've boiled them for one hour. I don't know if that was long enough but I haven't had any problems.

Well that sounds good
I did them for 1 hour at 250 farenheit

but where i live its about -20 celcius outside
so i dont think they really had any parasites anyways.

When we used to auto-clave stuff at work we did it at about 800 for 30 minutes. But I think that's a bit excessive. I'd say 30 minutes at even 300 would do fine.
