breeding crix for babies

Anyone know if you can visually see crix eggs when layed? Do they lay them on the surface and what color are they?

If you use a clear container you can see the eggs allong the sides, they are kids a clear/cream color here is a good article on baby food

They look like tiny (1 mm) long oval white eggs. They are laid vertically in the substrate.
