reptile show in Peterborough area
Hi everyone I am looking for some thoughts from all of you on this one .. if there was a reptile show located in the Peterborough area .. meaning in Peterborough or just outside of it how many would be interested in attending ?
this goes out to vendors as well as sow goers .. I was thinking it would be nice to have one very close to where I live and maybe even to have procedes to go to a good organization like the Kawartha Turtle Trama center.
anyhow .. lete here your thoughts people it is appreciated.

There's the ones here in Mississauga, and I think there are some out in Newmarket.
www.reptileexpo.ca is for the expo's here in Mississauga but you'll have to wait for someone else to chime in to find anything out about the Newmarket shows. I think
Capital Dragons usually go to them though...
HTH,

Yeah, I just re-read what you had typed, and before I could edit it, you replied. lol, sorry.
Well, I would probably come to it, both as a looker-arounder and a vendor.
Sounds like a good idea for those to the north of Toronto.

no problem about the re-read lol
I was thinking that a show maybe once or twice a year around here in between the reptile canada show in Missassauga would be cool ... and raise some cash for the turtle trauma center wouldn't be so bad either
breeders reading this .. lets here you ..

There was only one Newmarket show, and most people left with the feeling that it wasn't worth going :/
IMHO Peterborough doesn't strike me as being located in a busy enough part of the province to attract enough people.

I would definitely participate! I think it would be great for those of us that are a little bit more north within the province and of course awesome for the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre - right in their hometown. Capital Dragons has participated in both the Mississauga and Newmarket show. I'm not sure how Tim made out at the Newmarket show, but Mississauga has always been a fantastic show for both of us. It will be interesting to hear what others think!

how about one in ottawa??? 2x a year in peterborough, and 2x in ottawa! Could be the same show. We could probably get the nepean sportsplex as a venue in ottawa.

We think it would be great to have another reptile show around.Paul and I (bighill reptiles) would be there and i'm pretty sure we would be setting up a table also.
