Yup they are everywhere in jamaica.
Did you do any of the tours?
I didnt really see much for reptiles when I went there either. Untill we went on the black river tour. Fresh water crocodiles, and a bunch of little geckoes and anoles. Didn't spot any tree snakes though
Ill have to look for a pic of a little gecko I got it was using the a big croc like a basking rock just sitting on the end of its nose. lol
I hope I can find that pic.
peace

The only tour i did was to Dunn's River Falls on my second to last day. Too bad because i saw a swamp tour type thing on the way there, which promised crocodiles. Would have been cool i am sure. Ahh well, i guess i'll just have to go back.
I did see a type of gecko too, but the little bugger was too quick and got into a crevace in a rock face before i could catch him.
I think my resort was actively cleaning out the wildlife though, i barely saw anything alive aside from a few birds. Too bad, but i suppose the majority of its guests would prefer it that way.
where did you stay?
Geoff

darnit im not sure somewhere in montego bay. Ill have to look for the photo album.
Yea that black river was nice we also went swimming in it. kinda creepy knowing there are crocs just down river.
We were going to do the dunns river falls but decided on YS falls instead. Very nice with a big rope to swing out into the deep pools of water. We actually were traveling there with a russian gymnast and his wife. HE preformed in the Circ de Sole if youve ever seen it on t.v. ANyways he was pulling some crazy flips and twists off the rope it was a great time.
I would also love to go bac to jamaica some day. Still acouple more places id like to visit first. Mexico is my next stop followd by australia.
Do you do lots of traveling?

No not lots. Outside of NA i have only been on two trips. Jamaica, and Europe. Of course i hit up tons of countries in Europe, but all in one trip.
When i was young we traveled through out the US a lot. But thats pretty much it.
I too desperately want to go to Australia. I might just stay there actually!

Yea i wouldnt doubt it if I stay there when I go.
My dad had buddies from highschool that left for there after graduation and never came back. lol
I cannot wait till next year.
Ive been to acouple of places Barbadoes, Dominican, Jamacia
My dad just got a job at air canada as a mechanic 6 years ago so weve been taking advantage of his flight privlages.
Soon I will be put onto his card so I can get the same privlages without him having to fly with me.
Got any more pics of jamaica?
I would love to see them.
peace
