Totaly crazy question

this sounds totaly crazy to myself so i dont know how it will sound to you but i am looking for a place to buy 6000 to 10000 dragonfly nymphs does anyone know a place that would possibly sell any??

are the mosquitoes (sp?) that bad up there??..........lol i wanted a pet dragonfly at one time to kill mosquitoes but 6000-10000 your looking for an army

you have no clue!!! i bet you i was in the yard for MAYBE 2 minutes and killed at least 50 skeeters and thats just what i killed, nevermind what i just swated at

Long story short, my parents own a campground with lots of standing water.

and to think my finacee applied for a job up there!!! glad were staying down here not quite that bad in winnipeg yet!!

oh come on its not that bad, once you get past the skeeters in the summer and the cold in the winter..

i wouldn't have minded !! but she didn't get the job so not much i can do. not going to move up north for the fun of it ......lol beside i hate winter

There is (or at least used to be) a company in Ft. Erie Ontario that sold beneficial bugs, but for the life of me I can't recall the name, maybe a Google search will produce a hit. Chances are you'll have to order them in Canada, so the U.S. bug places I know of won't help any.

If you are not able to find any I would sudjest getting one of the propane powered skeeter traps. They arent the cheapest but they are supposed to work really good.

It might be your only alternative..

Hi, the name of the place in Fort Erie (actually in Stevensville, very close) is Natural Insect Control.It advertises alternatives to chemicals,Benificial Insects,Traps,Ect. #905 382 2904
I pass the place about twice a day but have never been in it.

you may want to try the Natural Resources here in Ontario as they release them in the summer to help with the skeeters. here is Ottawa #613-995-0947
