i dont know much about kingsnakes but if i was you i would not use that sand, ..... well wait do you feed it in a different container ?? if so then nevermind cuz if you fed it in the same cage then when it trys to eat the sand will get all in its mouth.

other than that very cool snake and cool cage

is that sand? if so, there are multiple reason why it isn't a good substrate for a king. i would suggest aspen mulch, carefresh, newspaper or butcher paper.

i do feed it in a seperate container. have been for ages now. but someone else doesnt like the idea at all i guess....

why? whats wrong with it? someone said it was fine. i dont feed him on the sand. isnt that good enough? if not ill do whatever it is you say asap i guess. is moss ok? some people at the big pet store told me moss is ok. where can i get carefresh and what is it? same for aspen mulch....where/what?
