I use a 10% bleach solution on my cages, and then make sure everything is wiped down completely before any beardie is put back into the enclosure. If you have a glass enclosure or glass doors, try a vinegar and water solution to keep it from getting all streaky. For any type of wood, soak in hot water for a while then try to scrub any mess off and rinse clean. Anything else in the enclosure just clean with the bleach solution and give a good rinse.

I almost always keep mine in rubbermaids when I clean, but the adults can be a pain to keep an eye on since they can easily get out of most sizes. I try to not let mine run around too much since my dogs and cats like to check out what all the commotion is and end up freaking out the beardies. Best thing to do for a full cleaning, put them in the tub or deep sink and give them a nice soaking so that you don't have to worry about them escaping. Just make sure to check on them every few minutes to see if they are happy and not playing the "Underwater" game. Try to clean little things out every day and do a good cleaning every few months, that way you will say clear of most parasites and keep everyone happy (except the vet )).

I put mine in a large rubbermaid with pre-drilled holes while I clean.
