Question Prices...

In general, how much do prices change from year to year?

I want to get a GTP... they're just so expensive! Is the price likely to come down in the next year or so, or is it probably going to stay around the same? I guess it really depends on how many people are successful breeding them... and it would probably take a couple of years at least for there to be enough difference in the numbers being produced for it to affect the price....

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts/experiences with stuff like this is -- I haven't been in the hobby long enough to know what the trends are as far as price fluctuations go....

Thanks
Jen

With GTP's your not looking at a price chop anytime in this lifetime I'd imagine. They will continue to be sought after in collections, and are some of the most difficult snakes to hatch, which is a factor in the price. They won't be mass produced like Colombian Boas or Burmese Pythons, so you aren't going to be seeing them as a $150 snake. In general the price changes from year to year aren't drastic changes at all, but with GTP's you won't be seeing them decrease in value in the years to come.
