albino hets

i was thinking about starting a breeding project, i was thinking insted of just breeding normal balls, that i would getting a het pair for albino. my questions are:
what should i expect to spend?
where could i get them from? (i would only buy from a breeder with a rep to maintain so i know i am getting what i paid for)

You could expect to pay about 1200 to 1400. There are lots of very good breaders on this site. Markus Jayne, Mykee, Tim Cranwill, Jeff Favelle. Sorry for the ones that I missed. Contact some of these guys and they will be able to help you.

A pair of hets this season, may end up going for between $1000-$1200. I will be producing het albinos this coming season, as will most of the others mentioned. PM me for more information or for an over-the-phone no-obligation quote. LOL.

Mykee,Thats about the same prise we pay in Holland. The hets i ordered cost me 1150, Euro.
I always thouhgt u guys were sheaper in the usa en Canada??
I know in Germany they ask between 1000 and 1400 euro. And breeders in holland ask around 1000 euro. The one's i ordered are Import from the usa.I think that people ho import BP from the usa not pay more as 7 or 800 $ for a pair of hets.

Actually it is a lot cheaper, remember your paying 1150 euros and we're paying 1200 canadian dollars, do a currency conversion and you will see there is a big difference, even between canadian prices and american prices. Most of which are about the same befor the conversion, but some things in the states are way cheaper, I have to admit that. but that's not always the case.

I think the euro is the same as the US $.But canadian $ i don't know.
I'm sorry for that But it is still a lot of money.I can asure u that ther are not many people here in holland ho will pay that amount
of money for a BP.Same happend with bearded dragons over here.A few years ago you paid 30 or 40 euro for a dragon .But now u get 6 ore maybe 10 euro for a babie dragon. And now everybody have bearded dragons because they are sheaper now.And i think thats why people over here want to do business with americans. That's what i whas told over here.

the last time i checked the conversion of the dollar to a euro is $1.00 to somewhere between 1.30-1.50 euro....euro is worth a significant amount more

what you have to remember is the price of a pair of Hets. compared to the price of one albino. And also remember that albinos will most likely will hold their value fairly well because they are a recessive trait.

thats why i want to start an albino project. Insted of breeding normals and getting maybe 100 for each, why not start for a resoable price of 1200 with albinos. If i have just one baby i pay the whole project off. and i can still sell the normals. I am not getting in it to make money, but i'm not getting in to lose money either.

i knew what they were going for on the net. i was just wondering if i would be able to get a better deal here. does not look like that is the case.
