This is what happens when you stay up all night chasing crickets. LOL! Talk about blood shot eyes! Was there something in the peach food that I don't know about??

Whatever was in the food, this girl must have had a good feed of it too
She's a U. fimbriatus CB (the only one of all the eggs that managed to hatch and survive for me.)

They're friendly (in a reptilian kind of way, that is), cute, easy to care for, so cute, tame once they get a bit older (4+ months), really cute, hardy, cute as buttons, long-lived - 15 - 20 years probably, so cute you can't have just one.
If you know anything about leopard gecko personalities, and how great they are as pets, then consider these guys as leopard geckos of the wall climbing crowd.
And their cousins, the gargoyles are runners up.
And did I mention they're sooooooo darned cute?

Convincing mom is easy - just show her some pictures of cresties and she'll melt like chocolate on a hot day.
Where to get a crestie depends on where you live. I don't know where 'over the rainbow' is, so can't help unless you give a better idea.
You can see tons of crested gecko pictures in my Webshots albums, probably some of them will win your mom over, or at least make her think seriously about one.
