Has anybody here used paper mache to make a fake rock hide?
if so, i was thinking of using the flour and water as a glue, and a water based paint, and esterpol to protect them,
we are just building a very large bank of enclosures, and would like to keep them all as natural looking as possible,
I just made one for my boa. I used a plastic bin covered it with that plaster cast stuff which I got at a Hobby store-it is used to make train tunnles., Then I mixed up sand with that new coconut Substrate- podged (white gluestuff and Water) the thing mixing in the sand etc.
I think it looks Great. My ball has had a similar one for 3 years
hope this helps
Brian

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize them you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
We have now completed 9 of the fake rocks, and they look so natural, once they are dry i will put them in the new cages, and they will be finished,
Brian,
thankyou,
