i going to be upgrading my enclosure for my boa i have 3 sheets 7'x2' and 2 sheets of 4'x4' should i downsize the cage or leaving it the way it is cus i live in an apartment should have it long wise or tall wise and does anyone have any pics of how your enclosure so it would give me an idea ~!
if it were me and i couls spare a little room i would use thos 7x2 as bottom/back/top, make a glass front cut 1 of those 4x4 in half and use those 2 peices as your sides.
or if space was a concern id go down to 2 feet high.
i personally dont like sliders. but should you use them they are very easy to make. buy sliders, put on top and bottom, add glass/handles.
what i always liked swinging doors. 2 that swing from center out. on a 7 foot cage i would bring the doors in a foot or so. so each door would be 2.5 feet wide. just make a wood frame, set in glass screw on hinges and voila.
huh i still don't know what to do with the door i have build my box 5'x2' didn't have enough room hehe while i have decided to have it tall wise and have shelve inside for her to pertch on ~!!!!
