Such gorgeous snakes! I keep toying with the idea of getting one. How thin/thick do they compare to cornsnakes? I've not seen one in person. What size prey do adults take? Are their temperature requirements similiar to corns? I'm not finding much care info on them. How are their temperments?

They get quite a bit larger than corn snakes, are kept much differently and are rather temperamental. Think 'racer'

They prefer cooler temps than corns do, and are quite a bit nastier as youngsters. Whereas corns are often reluctant to bite, most Orthriophis won't hesitate.
This is also on my must have list, and it's a shame there isn't more interest in this amazing species. It would be nice to be able to work with several bloodlines.
So if anyone is planning on producing these this year, DO LET ME KNOW!

This subsp. does not tolerate cool temps, this subps. are kept more humid and warm than others. ---> Hibernation in 17-19 C !
Also these beautis can be very aggressive.
