NC state reptile ban

This is called the "Garwood" bill that will ban boids with the potential to exceed 8 feet. http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/gascript...5&BillID=S1032

If you can set up meetings with representatives (to voice your opposition), make phone calls, and write letters, you know enough.

Straight banning them is silly, requiring permits isn't bad though. I Think thats a better route for the state to go. Also, it will be easier to convince them to go with that then to forget about it all together.

As long as the permits are inexpensive, not an excesively long process, and all you have to do is prove responsible ownership, then i would say that they are a great idea.

If someone doesn't want to care for their boa responsibly, then they shouldn't have it anyways. If they already are caring for it properly, then why should they have it taken away?
