perlite or vermiculite?

For hatching Ball pythons do I have to use a mixture of perlite and vermiculite, or can I just use one or the other?

Both 2:1, vermiculite to perlite.

Both, together, separately, neither.

If I was using the substrate method, I'd use the same ratio as Mykee. For sure.
