Found a snake

Went out hiking yesterday like I do on every birthday I have and came across a little snake . It was solid yellowish beigh color . Any idea of what snakes in BC are close to that coloration . Thanks .

where in bc? and what was teh body shape like? rubber boas are a solid colour, but i would highly doubt one being that light this far north. more liekly realyl dark brown/black.

could also possibly be a racer or a nifty gopher snake. but i kind of doubt it. it could also be a mutation of garter snake which is what i have my money on, especially if its in vancouver.

location and body description would help a lot.

It was a slender snake and it had no pattern , it was solid light beigh . I was really on my way back from hiking and had stopped by the fraser river to collect driftwood thats where I saw it . It looked like a racer but it probably wasnt . Thank you .
