What do you tihnk of puffed wheat.........

i just put it in one of my cages and well they are nibbling on it ,but otherways llove it!

Kinda starchy for a beardie, isn't it? It sounds like a nice treat but I wouldn't give it too often so that they fill up on more greens. They need the moisture more than the starch. But I imagine if it's enriched cereal that the nutrition would be pretty good and don't see where it's any harm.

Hmm, maybe I'll try a grain or three for my little iguana......

oh lol i should clarify, i put it as substrate........... ? thats what i used it as, but they stopped eating it, and have burried themselves

I would think that the starch might have some effect on their eyes or softer tissues. Also, a substrate like that would support infestations. I wouldn't and have not done it myself, so I don't really know. Let us know how it works out.
