F'in Right! Just made my night!

I've had this one female for a year and a half and she's got the best feeding response ever, but the problem is she would only take live mice. Makes for a real pain in the @$$ when she's 1500 grams and will only eat live mice. I had to give her 4-6 "jumbo" mice a week. During that whole time I tried anything and everything to get her on to both, prekilled and ratties. It was hopeless. I managed to trick her into eating 1 live mouse-sized rat in the middle of her feeding about a year ago. It was a one-time deal. Until last week I finally got her to take a small/medium rat, and let me tell you, she ate it with ferocity! As soon as she finished swallowing it I threw in another, and BAM! I did this once more until she had a nice lump in her. I was so happy that I finally got her onto rats. The next step was to get her onto prekilled. Well that was just achieved! I can't even believe it! Sorry to blab on forever, I am just super excited. I honestly thought she would NEVER take a p/k. Ever. I was at the point where I wasn't even going to try anymore. Hopefully it isn't a one time deal.
Hump.
PS. Sorry to bore you with stupid ramblings.

I couldn't BELIEVE the agression when mine took his first rat. Well, second rat... He tagged the mice something fierce, but that first rat I gave him I had to assist feed it (if you remember the circumstance). But the SECOND rat... holy lord. And every rat since.

Congrats on the switch. Happy tagging! lol

Thanks everyone!
I am fairly confident in her continuing to take rats, but I hope she will continue taking prekilled rats.
