question for owners of moderatly large animals.

For those who keep larger crocodillians, how do you manage keeping their indoor enclosures clean?

I'm talking about when they deficate in the pond, do you scoop out the solid matter and just let the filter clean out the rest? how often does the water need to be changed?

I'm thinking about getting a croc species (not sure yet) and i just wanted to ask that question, as I can't find the information online.

cheers,
Justin

I have a 3 foot animal, it's water is filtered by a fluval 304 external canister filter, and I rarely clean the water.. They have relatively small feces, and unless you are over feeding them, they will stay fairly clean. Mine is fed once a week (and is still fat).
