Question How hot does a RHP get?

Just curious. People keep saying they are safe, but how hot to the touch do they actually get?

I mean, if they're putting out any sort of useful heat, they have to be fairly hot, right? I'm guessing around 120 F at least?

IMP:

I use 70% of my collection on radient heat panels they can reach 120 and even 140 F, I use thermostats to control the temps to no higher than 90 F. Radient heat panels are only second to the sun itself and if you can use them your animals won' t be complaining

Above is the panel mounted on the ceiling of each cage.

Below is the thermostat I use on these cages.

Was using these before for almost 3 years and they work great.

Hope this helps

Tony
