I don't know much about them, but I do know that you can determine the sexes based on incubation temps. So that will be something to be taken in to consideration. I know I just saw a thread in reguards to this here somewhere. I would check the lizard forums & see what they have to say, Mark
P.S. thread I was refering to is just a couple down from this one by BOAS AND PYTHONS titled something about eggs & opinions temps
P.P.S. orginal Q I would guess 79-80 not any lower

im asking cause i ordered an incubater and it didnt come in so im using the tank to incubate the eggs and it dropped down to 76 F...ive moved it now and it stays 81-83 F
so im wondering if that dip in temp was a bad thing?
and id like to get females so im keeping it low

Usually a quick "dip" on the low side isn't a big deal as long as it wasn't for an extended time. A "dip" on the hot side even for just an hour though can be fatal to everyone or cause deformities etc. You should hopefully be alright, Good Luck Mark
