breeding wax worms?????

does anyone on this fourm have any experience breeding waxworms? ifs o i need some help. i have been doing lots of research on how to breed them but they are all just dying. they turn black and shrivel up. i started with about 50 and now i have less than half. any help would be great.

I have been breeding waxworms now for the last two months, and i have a plaque.
It sounds like your substrate mix that they feed on might be to dry or they could be too cold. I can not believe how easy they breed. a Lot more than my measlwoms. The only problem is that they get out everywhere. Hope this help.

temp you keep em at, food type, how long it takes etc

Well i am from South Africa, we are in summer, day time temp are between 28 and 32 degrees celsuis.

Will see if they do aswell during winter. We do not get any snow.
I use the Bran, oats honey glyserine and yeast mixture. Not too wet and it seems to work. Collected a 1000 worms the weekend.
