Looks good man. I take it one of the 2 openings on the left is cool and the other is hot?? Anyways looks cracking and the snake seems to be happy by the looks of it.
Regards
Adam

Haha I thought so the first time. Look real close and I think you'll see there's only one.

thanks for the kind words guys.
for the heat i had a spare slate tile and i made a "box" (on the right) that housed the heat pad and the slate on top of it with insulation underneath it all.
the heat is controlled by the dimmer switch (for now)
lol and there's only one snake in there.

jlax, cant too remember the prices of everything. but i guess it was around $100- $150.. just to buy 1 sheet (8'x4') melamane (sp) prices are a bit more expensive for sheet goods down here. a dimmer switch and a had a slate tile laying around so i used that for the (heat box), and just get whatever solid wood you want for the trim, (i used mahogany) the rest was just for screws and stuff like that.
im thinking of upping it for the next snake i get. im gonna make it out of solid lumber, thats gonna look awesome, i cant wait to get started on it
well I hope that helps...
