If you breed it with any recessive trait, you get hets - meaning they'll look normal or possibly similar to the father, won't show the trait the mother has but carry the genes. For all intents and purposes, it's a lost cause if you want to have something different in the next generation.
You could get a co-dom Mack Snow and expect 50% snow offspring if luck is on your side. Since it's a co-dominant trait, you can expect to see 'other than normal' offspring.
