Fat Tail Geckos *pics*

I was playing with my camera last week and thought I would share a few pictures with the forum. As I'm sure I've mentioned before, I love all colour forms of Fat Tails. I don't think I could pick a favorite
So, here's a few examples of the variety in my collection..............

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/firstFTbaby2005.jpg">
This little girl was my first hatchling of the season (January 9, 2005).

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/firstFTbaby2005-1mo.jpg">
Here she is last week.....starting to colour up

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/tang-light01.jpg">
These are a couple of the girls I kept from last season. This is the most intense Tangerine Fat Tail I've ever produced, and she's a Het Amel too . She looks unreal, and as though it's not an accurate picutre so I photographed her beside a light phase possible Het Amel for comparison.

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/tangamel2004.jpg">
One of the Tangerine Amel females I kept from last year.

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/tangstripe-light01.jpg">
This is that little "Tangerine Striped" female that I posted pictures of as a baby (for those who remember). She's loosing the contrast as the background colour comes in, but I still like her She's pictured beside the same light phase female posted above.

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/tangamel-stripe2004.jpg">
A Tangerine Amel pictured with a Striped possible Het Amel from last season.

<img src="http://www.niagarareptiles.com/temp/group2004.jpg">
I was trying to get a picture of all of the animals already pictured together in one shot for comparison sake, but was having a hard time getting them to co-operate.......

Thanks for looking, and I hope everyone has a great 2005 season!

JonK

Damnit Jon! You're such a tease! I personally am more of a fan of the darker ones, I love the striped one. Although the Amel is definate eye candy too

I'm not looking. I can't afford to look.
(ô¿ô¬)

Okay, so I'm looking, but I won't see anything.
(O¿O¬)

Okay, so I saw something but I don't like what I saw.
(^_^)

Who am I trying to kid?

With all the fatties I'm seeing lately, I need to know how long does it take to arrange a 2nd mortgage?

Got a story for you on this pic... I make a fair number of trips to the vet these days, unlike SOME people who have their OWN vet at home! Anywho... at the vet's they have a display board in the examing room, you know, post your "pet" pics.... like 100 dogs, and 80 cats. You get the idea. Sooooo, I stick up the photo of these guys.
Vet walks into the room some time later and finds a client sitting patiently with her dog. The client is having trouble keeping a straight face...seems she just can't believe the pets some people have these days! After all,PET SHRIMP is taking it just a little too far!

Stop it!!!! I haven't gotten the tank for them setup and can't afford it right at the moment and your all making me think if selling a kidny/liver to fund a tank!!! LOL Those are all awesome pics!! I can't wait to get some, but I can't decide what morph to start with!! I think I am leaning towards Tangerine Amels...but I can see that I will end up with ahving 1.4 of each morph eventually LOL

Thank you for the kind words everyone!

Betty - I'm not sure I'll have any Stiped Amels this season, so I might have to come take pictures of yours The girls are about big enough now, but I like to wait the extra season to give them a little more maturity.

Linda - That's a nice pile of shrimp you have there

Best wishes all,
JonK

Well, if you must sell some organs to get the money, the kidney and liver are good choices. You can safely get rid of one kidney and the liver can regenerate to some extent, so a chunk of that can go too.
